Ashleigh was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 5 months old. She went through chemotherapy and radiation therapy and in March 2000 (at age 2), she was officially "disease free". We continue to deal with the after effects of the tumor and treatment, but she continually amazes us! In 2007, we contacted the Make A Wish foundation to see if Ashleigh could make a wish now that she was old enough to choose something. In November, two volunteers, Clay and Steve, to talk to Ashleigh. She knew just what she wanted. "I want to go to Disney World!"Friday, June 20, 2008
